About Our Community Benefit Society

We are the Huddersfield African Caribbean sports and development trust. A Community Benefit Society (CBS) owned and governed by its members for the benefit of the wider community. Our purpose is to create lasting social, environmental, and economic value by managing and developing community assets in a way that serves both present and future generations.

As a Community Benefit Society, we operate on democratic principles, giving members an equal voice in how the organisation is run. Decisions are made in the interests of the community, and any surplus generated is reinvested into our activities, projects, and services rather than distributed for private gain.
